| In this paper,the Hamiltonian system of EM waveguide is introduced and the consistent and lumped mass matrices are constructed after symplectic regularization and semi-analytical discretization.The periodic corrugated waveguide is discussed and the equivalent reflective index is applied here and the corrugated waveguide is translated into multiple films with periodic indices,corresponding to the finite strip in applied mechanics.The solutions of pass-band symplectic eigenvalues,greatly approximated to analytical ones,are computed in numerical example,which demonstrates the efficiency of equivalence. |
