| The heterogeneity of rock-like materials is summarized in this paper. According to this property, a program for elastic|plastic failure process analysis is developed by means of the random assignment of material parameters, and several examples are put forward to prove the correctness and the reliability of this program. The elastic|plastic failure process of rock specimen was simulated by using this program, which demonstrates that the numerical results agree well with experimental results. The proposed method is applicable to analyze the elastic|plastic failure process of rock|masses in engineering. |
