| Abstract: |
| Based on reasonable assumptions and consideration of constitutive relation of concrete, steel beam and bar, a series of equations for full-course analysis on torsional performance of composite steel-concrete beams are derived in the paper by using the equilibrium and deformation compatibility conditions. A simplified method of analysis on composite beams subjected to torsion is given. And with VC++6.0, the corresponding program is developed, which provides visual interface for input and output. Comparison between test and predicted results shows that the method proposed in this paper is rational. |
