Abstract:
      The problem on vertical vibration of a finite length pile in the layered soil under an exciting force is investigated,in which the behavior of soil surrounding pile is standard linear solid model and the influence of the soil under pile toe and surrounding pile is considered. With Laplace transform, the transmit functions of a pile about velocity and displacement are deduced. Then, Using the convolution law and inverse Fourier transform, a quasi-analytical solution for the velocity response of the pile subjected to a semi-sine wave exciting force is given. Based on the solution,some major parameters of the model affecting the reflecting wave curves and the velocity mobility curves of the top end of pile are studied, and the effect of broken pile or soil parameter are also discussed.
