Abstract:
      The boundary element method for the analysis of crack problems are presented using the fundamental solutions of three-dimensional multilayered solids. The multi-domain method of the BEM and the crack element are utilized. The displacement extrapolation methods are applied for evaluating the values of stress intensity factors of cracks. It is shown that the present method is efficient for the crack problems in layered solids.
