Using Mises yield condition, limit loads of the simply sup ported annular plate on inner boundry under linear distribution load are analyse d by method of weighted residuals in this paper. The formular and corresponding numerical results of the limit loads have been given for two various types of l inear loads. And the influence curves of limit loads are also illustrated. Com pared with results based on maximum moment limit condition shows that the result s is more reasonable.
