| The nearly singular integrals occur in boundary elemen t method when it is applied to analyzing thin wall structures or calculating th e quantities close to the boundary. In the paper, a regularization algorithm i s given to calculate the nearly singular integrals. The singular factor is sepa rated from the integrands of the nearly singular integrals by using integration by parts, so that the nearly strongly singular and hyper singular integrals a re successfully evaluated. The algorithm is used to analyze the thin wall stru ctures of two dimensional elasticity problems. |
