| Based on the sheet stable theory, a concept of virtual bending stiffness and a calculating method of critical stress for the sheet wrinkling are presented, and applying the technology of computer simulation and the finite element method, the wrinkling cloud figures are generated to observe the stability of each part of the sheet and used to predict the possible wrinkling zones. The forming process and model modification can be easily improved by this method. Some conclusions drawn from the wrinkling cloud figures are very close to the test result, which is of great practical interest. |
