Abstract:
      By using the Finite Element Method, a stiffness matrix of triangular unit of the light gauge sheet with variable thickness is deduced and a mathematical model for calculating the stresses and displacements at the center of the triangular unit is established. Comparing the static force analysis results of a missile wing with the experimental results show that the proposed model can meets the requirement for the structural design accuracy.
