s: Few researches investigate dynamic nonlinear analysis of RC slabs. On the basis of a concrete dynamic constitutive model proposed in the paper, a program for finite element dynamic analysis of RC slabs is developed, in which a generalized conforming layered rectangular elements and the explicit Newmark method are adopted. Some numerical analysis shows the method presented in the paper is reasonable and practical.
