Abstract:
A modified impulse response function is introduced to the Duhamel integral equations. The relation between the evolutionary power spectrum density matrix of earthquake excitations and the evolutionary spectrum density of structural response is established, which is used to calculate the random seismic responses of the actual cable-stayed bridge. The formula, including time domain scheme and frequency domain scheme, for directly calculating the total structural dynamical responses taking the spatial and time-varying properties of ground motions into account is realized. Therefore the computation of structural response under multi-support earthquake excitations considering the effect of pseudo-static displacement is simplified greatly.
