| In this paper, an analysis program, called GPILE, for calculating bearing capacities of single pile and pile groups is introduced. The soil pile interaction is simulated by a series of nonlinear springs through PY curves, TZ curves and QZ curves and the solution is found by iterative approach. The group efficiency is included when analyzing pile groups. In addition, superstructure can be added on piles, so that the interaction between pile and superstructure is taken into account. |
