Abstract:
      Based on the unit cell geometrical model of 3\|dimensional multi\|directional braided composites, the forming method of multi\|phase element stiffness matrix is studied, and the meso\|scopic calculating mechanics analyzing method of 3\|dimensional multi\|directional braided composites is established. The effective mechanical properties of the 4\|directional carbon/epoxy braided composites are predicted and the comparison between the theoretical predictiom and the experimental data is presented.
