| Abstract: |
| The curvilinear virtual laminated beam element, which is based on a new type of virtual laminated element and can be used to the shape optimization that often causes the change of the boundary shape. In the new method, the specific layer thickness is taken as design variations, and it doesn't require changing the original data structure. Therefore it does not need to reform the finite element in the shape optimization. The calculated results show that this method is very simple, and have reliable results. We believe that this method can be applied in the future engineering design. |
