This article generalized the SIMPLE algorithm, commonly applied in incompressible flows, to compressible\|flow calculations. This all\|speed approach thus provides a unified numerical solution method for both incompressible and compressible flows. As validated in the present work in a number of transonic flows this method showed very promising performance.
