Abstract:
      In this paper, the vibration control of composite laminated adaptive structure, which used piezoelectric material as the actuators, was studied. A four\|node piezoelectric composite laminated plated element was implemented for dynamic analysis of adaptive structure. The damping ratios of truncated models were considered as the control objects, so that each of the structural modal oscillation could decay rapidly. Hence, the structural oscillation was effectively controlled. According to the velocity feedback, structural frequency parameters and vibration modes, and the position of actuators, the control voltages of the actuators were calculated. Numerical examples were given to show the efficiency of the method.
