Abstract:
      A nonsmooth algorithm is given to solve the nondiffentiable nonliear complementary model of three dimensional frictional contact problems. The algorithm is easier than the smoothing one becauce the smoothing operation to the model is omitted. The convergence of the algorithm is strictly proved. Numerical experiments suggest that the nonsmooth algorithm is as effecient as the smoothing.
