Abstract:
      Some developments of boundary contour method with perfect quadratic polynomial selected as displacement shape function are presented in this paper. Divergence free property of J integral in two dimensional elastic fracture problem is testified and J integral problems can be reduced can be reduced to merely evaluation of potential functions at points on the boun dary of a body without numerical integrals. Numerical results are given to show that the accuracy of the method is very excellent.
