Abstract:
      In this paper, the large scale nonlinear problem of circular arch beams under concentrated load is studied by the pseudo arclength algorithm in the finite element method. The curves of the critical load vs. The center angle and the critical point between the bifurcation and the simple bifurcation are obtained. The deformations after buckling are traced. To begin with, the pseudo arclength algorithm is briefly described, then the calculated results are presented.
