| The algorithm in ODE solver COLSYS is re examined, modified and improved to incorporate the direct solution of coupled systems of ODEs with unknown parameters. On the one hand, the commonly used trivial ODE technique that has to be used so far becomes unnecessary and a large amount of computation can be saved. On the other hand, the numerical stability and hence the accuracy can be improved due to a smaller size of resulting equations. |
