| Abstract: |
| This paper presented a nonlinear method for the cable structures in which the sliding cable elements exit. Using the finite element modle with five node curved cable elements presented in reference , the author established the calculation theory, formula and method, and used this model to compute one example, the results showed that this method led to good presicion and could meet the need of the engineering. The model presented in the paper can be applied in the design and construction of the cable structures. |
