| Abstract: |
| A quasi frontal method with block elimination has been described for the solution of equation system encountered in boundary element method in this paper. In this method, the elimination of submatrices, which are immediately formed in boundary element method, is designed according to the principle of Gaussian method. The advantage of this disk based solution method is that only two rows of submatrices is in working area of computer and at most a half of whole coefficient matrix needs to be stored in a determined record device. As a major result of the solution on block eliminations, much larger problems can be ready solved in a computer with small sized capacity of memory. |
