| A simplified recurrence method in frequency subdomain has been developed for promptly computing the dynamic flexibility of complex soil foundation. In this method, the frequency domain is divided into several subdomain. The dynamic flexibility at centre frequency of each subdomain is computed by popular method. Then the dynamic flexibility at other frequencies in the subdomain is determined forward or backward by using the obtained solution at the centre frequency, rather than by the popular method. Therefore, the calculating procedure can be simplified. An iterative technique is suggested to improve the computing precision. The numerical examples demonstrate that the method introduced in the paper can satisfy the requirement for quickly computing the dynamic flexibility of soil foundation with a good precision. |
