Abstract:
      Based upon a four processor transputer parallel system, several parallelization strategies for the SIMPLEC algorithm for the problem of numerical simulation of wind pressures on buildings have been developed in this paper. The strategies are domain parallelization strategy, equation parallelization strategy and dual parallelization strategy. The solution procedures, data communication and parallel efficiencies for the three strategies are discussed and compared with one another. The strategies are also demonstrated by the test calculations.
