| In this paper, the dynamic responses of the longitudinal locking of rods and the lateral locking of beams are analyzed thoroughly, and the theories of wave propagation are employed to explain the physical implications of some results. And the feasibility of the application of Euler theory to the analysis of locking of beams is investigated. |
