| Abstract: |
| \ \ MTMD prove to be effective in suppressing the response of the structure under wind load. In this paper, fundamental dynamic characteristics of MTMD and the effect of variation of its important parameters are investigated. Numerical analyses show that effectiv eness and robust of MTMD in controlling dynamic response of structure are better than that of the optimized STMD. Finally, Lo Yang steel TV tower has been taken as an example for elucidating the steps of MTMD design. |
