| Abstract: |
| The solution for a point force applied at the interior of an infinite solid is obtained based on the general solution of the transversely isotropic elasticity, it can be directly reduced to the isotropic case, the kelvin results. By utilizing this solution, a boundary element method program is suitable both for isotropic materials and transversely isotropic materials, so it is a real united solution. Two BEM numerical examples are presented. |
