Abstract:
      This paper proposes a sufficient and necessary stochastic boundary integral equation for anisotropic potential problems. Based on the first-order Taylor series expansion, the bound ary integral equations concerning the mean and deviation of the potential are derived, respectively. It is found that the randomness of material parameters is equivalent to a randomsource. Numerical examples show that conventional boundary integral equation obtainswrong results when the scale in the fundamental solution approaches its degenerate scale value. Whereas, the sufficient and necessary boundary integral equation results are in good a greement with the practical results.
