| Abstract: |
| This paper presents a new method for graded mesh generation of quadrilateral finite elements on a square parent plane which allows for gradations in both coordinate directions. This methed can control mesh topology and density and have no limit to the number of nodes on each edge. This method is integrated with mapping method and solves the mesh .transition problem when using mapping method to generate all quadri1ateral meshes. This method is fasting, requires few calculations and the result elements are robust. |
