A virtual boundary element method is presented for solving the potential problems.Thediscretized boundary integral equations for the potential problems are formulated by the vir-tual boundary element and the discretized integral analytical expressions for calculating thecoefficients of matrix of the equations to be solved are deduced.This method has the advan-tages of no singular integral and higher accuracy near the real boundary and can be used tosolve all potential problems,such as the vacuum static electric field,the temperature field,theflow field generated by fluid passing through a body,the penetrating flow and so on. Someexamples are calculated and satisfactory results are obtained. |
