On the basis of establishment of the theory,which evaluating the residual carrying ca-pacities of damaged structural member and system,an expert system is designed.The con-figuration of knowledge and system,the principal of deducing and the flowchart of the sys-tem are emphasized in this paper.Also an numerical example is offered.
