| ship structural design possesses strong comprehensiveness,experience and creation.Anumber of achievements have been obtained by means of classical optimum design methods inship structural design. However,the practical engineering characteristics, modern mathe-matic theories and advanced computer techniques must be taken into account together in or-der to set up real and effective optimum design methods of ship structures. Up to now,a fewprogress is made in this research field.In this paper ,recently advances in optimum designmethods of ship structures are given. |
