Abstract:
      A method for solving inverse problems of elastic or thermoelastic material parameters is proposed in this paper. It is a combination of the boundary element method and the Kalman filter. Young s modulus E and Poisson s ratio v and coefficient a of linear thermal expansion can be simultaneously concluded by the displacements at observation points.
