| The state of arts of the general purpose structural analysis program for 16 bit microcomputer is reviewed. Some of perspectives and developments in the next ten years are presented. In the next ten years, nonlinear structural analysis on microcomputer will be the major object of developments. The solver of nonlinear analysis, bifurcation and other very difficult problems would be solved in the next' ten years. Multi-windows graphics system and other modern computer technology will significantly improve the user interface of the structural analysis program on microcomputer. |
