Abstract:
The process of bird impacting on blade is a complicated loading process. In order to simplify the process,so as to establish the bird impact load model which is simple and reasonable,it is necessary to analyse the effects of various factors of bird impact load on blade response. This work is performed with the help of computer numerical simulation in this paper. The finite element method is used to compute the nonlinear transient response of blade by means of simulating a real blade with a rectangular cantilever plate ,and simulating bird impact loads with shock loads . About twenty examples are computed and analyzed. The analysis is conducted from three aspects,i, e. the impulse, the temporal factors, and the spatial factors. The seven load factors are impulse,load-duration,force-time function, initial shock pressure, loading location, spatial distribution of loads, and load type. The conclusions obtained in this paper may provide the basis for simplifying the bird impact loading process, and the reference for etablishing the bird impact load model.
