Abstract:
A theoretical system of computer aided structural analysis of hydraulic power station distributors is introduced. In addition, the structure and the characteristics of the corresponding software system is presented. The software system comprises three program parts: Preprocessing of FEA, FEA and Postprocessing of FEA. The preprocessing part forms automatically the graded finite element meshes of distributors on the basis of the transfinite mapping scheme or the directed method, edits the attribute datas of FEA, and prepares input data files needed in the FEA and Postprocessing. Isoparametric curved shell element in orthogonal curvilinear coordinate system which attached to high precision are employed in the FEA. The deformation conforming between different components is guaranteed by the use of the penalty element method. The elastic reaction forces of the rock around distributors can be considered by using the compress-spring element which supported only compressed deformation. The blocking solver expands the scope of problems which need to be analyzed. This program also possesses restart function based on the local redesign or local reanalysis. The postprocessing draws it into reality which would be relevant data graphical detect and graphical analyze by the use of interactive computer graphics techniques.
