Abstract:
in this paper we examine later displacements and stresses of an infinite elastic thin plate resting on an isotrapic elastic half-space under some uniform circular loads. Any circular load can disagree each other for loading intensity qi and radius ai. The analysis of the infinite plate problem recently has particular interest. Many structural foundations such as mat foundations subjected to highly group of columns loading and concrete pavements subjected to aircraft or traffic loads can be adequately represented by this model. General solutions of displacements and stresses of a plate are obtained to use coordinate transform. The later displacements and stresses obtained here have to be axially non-symmetric forms due to arbitrary distribution of circular loads. The converge of formulas is confirmed in this case. The numerical result of deflections and stresses of a plate consists excellently with that given by [3].
