Abstract:
      In this paper the bending problem of the thin plates on elastic foundation are solved by use of the direct nonsingular boundary element method. Two types of foundations, Winkler's and "Double-parameter" models, are considered. The third type of Bessel's function with complex variable is chosen as the foundamental solution, and a set of weighting functions are also derived, Based on the scheme mentioned above, the computer program is developed for various kinds of plates on elastic foundation with complex boundary conditions. Besides, the influence of the stakes to the plate bending can also be treated by the program.
