| The new method of elasto-plastic finite element analysis--plastic nodemethod and its physical background is studied by variational principle and assumption of discretizing plastic flow rule. It is shown that essentials of the method is the discretion of plastic flow rule and that the method is modified in general meaning. Solutions of typical plate/shell and complex shell structure show that the computed results agree to that of references and experiment quite well. It suggests .that present analysis is feasible and reliable in elasto-plastic analysis of shell structures. |
