Abstract:
      In this paper the formula which is used to deal with the constraints of stresses and displacements in optimization of the structure made of bars and membranes is generalized to the form of . The later can be used to deal with the constraints of buckling and eign-value of structure made of various elements including beam, plate and shell. Several examples show that the formula has high accuracy and the efficiency of optimization design has been raised.
