A simulation approach of particle to particle collisions, based on a particle Lagrangian technique simulation technique in homogeneous, stationary and isotropic gas solid turbulent flows, is presented. This model has been used to simulate a homogeneous gas solid turbulent dlow. Comparisons are made with the computed results of Lavieville used by Large Eddy Simulation to verify the approach, and the influence of inter particle collisions on the fluid and particle phases is investigated. |
