The analysis models for control rod and its drive mechanism in the nuclear power plant are established, and a method for computing control rod drop time is presented. In the paper, horizontal dynamic responses for all the various members under multi-support and 2 components seismic excitation are solved with the explicit difference technique. A calculation in an example shows that the result obtained by this method is very good agreement with the experimental result. |
