| In this paper, a weight function method is applied to estimate the stress intensity factor of surface crack in weld joints, the stress intensity factor is obtained in an analytical expression, also, the unmerical procedure is outlined. The estimation result for T type weld plate joint shows a good agreement with the photo elastic experimental data. |
